3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. To illustrate the difference I am attaching a picture showing them overlayed by the size small Rainbow Injinji injinji Ecomade Performance Mini Crew Toesocks sock purchased at the same time. You can see that solid light blue sock is wider, longer, and most importantly the toes have a different shape. Even though the big toes of both socks are the same length, the other toes of this sock are increasingly longer. Because of this shape there is a lot of extra material hanging off from the pinky toe. I am also attaching a photo of the socks on my feet, and you can see a good fit on a big toe, but not on the toes starting with a middle one. The socks are also loose around your leg, and I suspect they will droop at the end of the day around your ankle. I like the feel of the wool by touch, but after wearing the socks for a couple of hours my feet began to inch. Finally, a note on packaging. The socks arrived stapled right through the center to the cardboard. My brand new expensive socks start with some damaged fibers right in the center of the sole. None of the other Injunji socks I purchased from Amazon are packaged that way. Photo attached. I am a big fan of Injinji socks, and will be buying more, just not this particular style. I cannot recommend these socks! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Sizing length: These socks should come just above your ankle. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. |

There’s a divergence among women’s underwear and sexy panties. Underwear is functional. It is worn for sanitary purposes. Sexy panties are with regards to femininity, self-expression, and style. Sexy panties are perchance the only item of costume that may influence the mood of both women and men. While panties may have evolved over the years as the embodiment of female sexuality, they did not commence out that way. Their introductory aim was to cover-up and minimize a woman’s effeminate features. The initial “panties” were the brainchild of Elizabeth Miller, but Amelia Bloomer revised them for the duration of the 1850′s. They were basically long, baggy pants ending at the ankles (a.k.a. “bloomers”). In the late 18th century bloomers got two other nametags – knickers and knickerbockers. When the roaring 20s arrived, signaling the end of World War I, young women begun wearing shorter skirts for dandier ease while dancing. With all of the high leg kicking that was taking place, undergarments went from being a private article of clothing, to potentially being a public display of intimate fashion apparel. As a result the firstborn pastel panties were designed and the word “lingerie” original appeared in public. The term lingerie derives from the French word ‘lin’ which means linen. During the beginning of the 20th century it was still being called underwear and was worn mainly for hygienic purposes. It was at this time that bloomers begun to shrink in size. FREDERICK’S Of HOLLYWOOD In the 1940s, Frederick’s of Hollywood opened shop in Hollywood. They started out turning out prettier undergarments, lingerie, and corsets. Many viewed these more fashionable undergarments as “hooker” attire. After all, why would a respectable woman need raunchy panties? Thus, any finelooking and/or fashionable garments worn under costume were deemed as lingerie; which was related with bad girls who did bad things…that men liked. Frederick’s of Hollywood still carries this stigma today and as a result, has been overshadowed by Victoria’s Secret as a more “respectable” undergarment retailer. Colorful, bright, sexy, and flashier fashions of women’s lingerie were getting available. More fabrics such as cotton, satin, lace and silk started out to be integrated into the makeup of women’s lingerie, making them more desired by females and more sensual to males. SEXUAL REVOLUTION This is perhaps the great turning point when panties became more than simple hygiene productions and were viewed as a symbol for sexuality and eroticism worldwide. During the 1960s, there was a stir regarding the old, conventional views of women’s undergarments, which galore humans wanted to look more like females’ anatomies. Female anatomy was largely misunderstood due to censorship of the subject. Some feminist women were complaining that traditionalisti women’s undergarments were invented to impose control and distort the aspect of women’s figures (which it in the first place did). This motion caused a heap of females to have a new outlook on their undergarments. The underpants begun to be made more like women’s anatomy, as designers experimented with dissimilar cuts and fabrics. The underpants got littler and skinnier and started out to be more in an open way sexualized. Then the 70s and sexual liberation arrived. Inhibitions diminished and so did the tolerance for grandma panties (which is what bloomers were now called). THONGS While a lot of credit Rudi Gernreich with introducing the basi innovative thong back in 1974 – in this country – it was genuinely the Egyptians, conceptually, who were one of the earliest persons to wear them. The loincloth, worn thousands of years ago by them, is likely to be the primary undergarment worn by humans and it evolved into the thong over the years. So, ironically, it was basi worn by men in ancient times before it evolved into part of women’s lingerie in innovative times. The thong, in the first place called a V-back, are a special type of underwear that ride high on the hips and leave the bottom closely totally exposed. They were likewise worn for a good deal of years by exotic Brazilian dancers for the duration of festivals. Thongs also grew in popularity for the duration of the 80s in South America and were used as swimwear at the beaches. The popularity of the thong disseminate to respective elements of the world in the late 80s. In the US, the thong had to gain acceptance before it gained popularity. In the early 90s R&B vocalist Sisqo and his famous “Thong Song” helped with both. Today, the thong is one of the best retail styles of undergarment in the world. The size of the lingerie industry is said to be over $2 billion a year. The rest is history. Because most articles of this nature are written by women, I thought it would be nice to offer a male point of view on the sex appeal of respective types of panties and why men love them. G-STRINGS Commonly referred to as “butt floss” because they are made with the least amount of material, G-Strings are a woman’s best defense versus panty lines. They are almost invisible under snug or tight fitting pants. G-Strings look best on the woman who has a rounder, more well-defined ass. For women who lack plumpness in that area, a G-String with a triangle back will add more definition to your buttocks and make them appear rounder in the way that thongs do. Thongs are best for visually heightening and adding definition to less specified buttocks. MICRO G-STRINGS This is a comparatively new G-String. It has a low front panel, which makes it smaller than a G-string. While I like the conception and the visual, Micro G-Strings seem very impractical and somewhat uncomfortable, but very, very erotic. Perhaps best for “situational” use. V-STRINGS These are a hybrid amidst Thongs and G-String. They have more material and cover a more outstanding part of the buttocks than G-Strings. They also provide more outstanding ass definition for those who need it, but lack the ease of G-strings. C-STRINGS A C-String is a type of thong that has only a thin string connecting the front piece covering the vagina. Unlike the more frequent G-String, V-String, and T-String, the C-String does not comprise a waist band. It is kept in place by a flexible frame which “clamps” onto the body. It looks more like a space age medical device, but without doubt or question it’s easy to remove…which may have it is benefits. T-BACK THONGS OR T-STRINGS This thong has a wide waistband going around the back. The T shape is made by the juncture of the waistband share merging into the back material of the thong. This version of the thong is perhaps the least bestloved amid men. It looks and feels like a belt. The material in the waist seems excessive. BOY SHORTS Boy shorts, likewise known as boy short panties, boys’ cut, booty shorts, shorties, tap panties or boy-leg briefs are a sort of lingerie that goes all the way down the hips. Some stop short of the length of the hip to disclose a part of a woman’s “cheeks” for titillation. They are similar in style to male boxer shorts – but are tighter and of course, much sexier. Men like them because they are fun, flirty, and sensual. If you have nice, plump, round buttocks, boy shorts will accentuate your assets. BIKINI BRIEFS The classic bikini is still sexy – subtle, but sexy. They come in some variations. Bikini underwear may refer to almost any undergarment that provides less coverage to the midsection than conventional underwear, panties or knickers. As much as men love the aforementioned panties, bikini briefs tend to outnumber most panties in a woman’s undergarment supply. INTERESTING TRENDS…THE ASS BRA? The ass bra allegedly enhances the lift, shape and volume of the ass while also flattening the lower tummy and shaping the thigh. That’s rather a lot to deliver on. My exploration revealed their intermediate price to be $64. How does it work? According to one website: “Constructed of 3 high-tech layers…an inner and outer silky-soft layer made of a Nylon/Spandex blend gives rise to a smooth seamless look beneath clothing. A high-compression latex middle layer provides breathable and flexible slimming of the tummy. A originative solution for those who want the illusion of slim and trim thighs, a tummy-tuck and a butt-lift without the use of padding.” BUTT CLEAVAGE PANTIES These are Bikini-style panties with either a peephole or a lace-up in the back, so named for the “cleavage” view they create. They don’t do much for men; though they seemingly provide women with more air, must they desire it. BACKLESS PANTIES These are…interesting panties which do away with backside fabric altogether and are held up by a band underneath the buttocks. Hmm…can’t see the point of them. On the Flirty Lingerie internetsite I read the most powerful and intellectual statement in regards to sexy panties…which was written by a woman: “When a woman passes a mirror she may pause to see if she is all put together. That includes her hair, makeup, teeth and so on. Never is the focus on the panties she is wearing and perchance rightfully so. I don’t advocate that a woman must check out her underwear all around the day for apparent reasons. On the other hand…the clothes a woman wears make a statement with regards to her sense of style, fashion sense and personality; hence the choice of panties can, and does, make a divergence in a woman’s wardrobe.” I couldn’t agree more.

Wanda The Fish. That was the most humiliating name any chick could get labeled at my middle school. Getting chastised as “Wanda” plainly meant that your vagina reeked of “Tuna Of The Sea”. Understandably, girls, myself included, would go to broad lengths to keep out of the way of this dehumanizing stigma. So what do you do when your stinky midsection betrays an other than as supposed or expected healthful vagina? The introductory step is to genuinely make sure that your vagina is in tip-top shape. What’s a Vagina Supposed to Smell Like? Throughout your menstrual cycle, it’s normal to have a assortment of vaginal discharges. Vaginal discharge may take the form of the non-fertile, viscous- and sticky-type discharge to the very fertile, slippery- and clear-type discharge that occurs close to menstruation. Abnormal discharges are accompanied by itchiness, raunchy smells, and/ or gray-, yellow- or green-colored discharges. The second step to restoring your vagina to health involves to ruling out the possibleness of having vaginal conditions like bacterial vaginosis, a yeast infection or trichomonas vaginitis. Bacterial vaginosis Bacterial vaginosis (BV), while more mutual than yeast infections, doesn’t get much attention in the media. The cause of bacterial vaginosis remains unclear but this condition is linked to sexual action and douching. According to a University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) study, a sexually transmitted virus that infects vaginal lactobacilli may cause bacterial vaginosis. Vaginal lactobacilli are required to maintain a healthful pH and bacterial remainder within the vagina. Once this remainder is disrupted by a virus, the vagina no longer has a protective barrier and is more susceptible to infection. In the 1999 UIC study, Sylvia Pavlova, senior exploration specialist, and Lin Tao, associate professor of oral biology, found that viruses may cause bacterial vaginosis. Moreover bacterial vaginosis could be sexually transmitted. If untreated, bacterial vaginosis may lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, tubal pregnancy, or, pre-term labor if you are pregnant. Only your doctor may diagnose bacterial vaginosis. Your doctor would prescribe oral antibiotics or antibiotic vaginal inserts to treat bacterial vaginosis. What to look and smell for: Increased vaginal discharge. A fishy vaginal odor and white or gray milk-like discharge. Yeast infection If you’ve employed antibiotics, been pregnant, have diabetes, or wear tight clothing, chances are you’ve experienced an overgrowth of vaginal yeast. Overgrowth of the yeast Candida albicans is largely blamed for causing yeast infections. Most women find their yeast infection treatment in over-the-counter preparations at drug stores. Other times you may find yeast infection relief by moderating your sugar intake and supplementing your diet with more foods that comprise Lactobacillus (L.). Dr. Tori Hudson, who serves a medical conductor of A Woman’s Time, recommends that you eat foods that comprise at least three of the following forms of Lactobacillus when naturally treating a yeast infection: L. acidophilus, L. fermentum. L. plantarum, L bulgaricus, L. casei, or L. rhamnosus. While a exploration war still ranges over the effectiveness of Lactobacillus versus combating yeast infections, women still observe improvements with their vaginal contagions after supplementing their diet with this probiotic. What to look and smell for: Symptoms include a white cottage cheese-like discharge, itching, redness, and irritation. Trichomonas vaginitis Trichomonas vaginitis comes in as the third leading cause of vaginal infections. Commonly called “hooker”, I mean “trick”, trichomonas vaginitis is a sexually transmitted infection caused by a tiny single-celled parasite. Like bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas vaginitis may be transmitted through intercourse. Your doctor would have to test you to diagnose trichomonas vaginitis. She will prescribe antibiotics as a treatment. What to look and smell for: Increased amount of vaginal discharge. Possible itching. Itching and redness accompanied by a yellow-green discharge. You know what the ironic thing in regards to this smelly vagina business is? It is that if you get bacterial vaginosis or trichomonas vaginitis, your doctor will prescribe antibiotics, but after using the antibiotics, your probabilities of getting a vaginal yeast infection shoot up. Who designed this health scenario anyway? Before you curse, Wanda, let me offer you these tips for vaginal health to use at you own discretion:
Ok, I hope you smell better now and if in doubt, check it out.
