Had a sad song once,
the song that killed me and threw all the blood upon my face,
pleaded to death to leave me,
leave my ears and run away,
Or else let my ears runaway,
but the power that diminished me,
was no joke, was no fun,was only breaking,
Abhorred it, cursed it, tried to end it,
but the song went on and on and on…
like never before…felt the song would walk up to heaven,
going on and on and on…
And assert the sit for it is sin,
claim the throne of God to be its,
claim the evil sad song and with dignity it sits,
A song ruling upon beings,
Blessing was a faulty word,
the cursing was the blessing!
horrified and tortured,my eyes…
looked upon the sky,
the sky that was so pure and beautiful
became a combining of Red and Black!!!!
vacuum, empty, void, vacuity, blank…nothing not one thing at all!!!
the blood still passing through my skin,
stopped smelling odd,
the air stopped blowing,
hot it became very hot,
eyes attempting to pop out,
heart beat fast fast than ever,
mind working like a injured machine,
a only proper thought was my soul,
nothing in my body was mine…
All were Taken., taken by the sad sad song,
I console myself,
I try to soothe my hands,
I try to ease my heart crossing it,
I try to cheer up, smile…
smile became a thunder,
my heart became a big blunder,
the soul I trusted to be only mine,
left with sounds of the thunder,
I necessitated another proper thought…a thought..just a thought..
I got the answer..it was a scream…yes…it may be the scream!!
I tried to scream..scream to death…
scream in each possible way,
scream in each possible style,
I did, I screamed, I did
just a scream, Scream, SCREAM!
All the while my eyes were closed,
someone opened them, and told..
“Don’t worry it is just a bad dream”

It’s an absolutely perfect song and perfectly The Cars. By Cleo There was really no commercial reason for The Cars to retire. This song reminds me of how good they are. However, I have never been a devoted fan but I did enjoy their songs when they played on Top 40 Radio. If you like the cars especially, you should download this song.

Fun Return By E. Goodridge I was excited to hear that The Cars were reuniting and putting out a new album. Benjamin Orr (RIP) is sorely missed, but to the groups credit, Ric even acknowledged that Ben would have sang some of the songs better, and that they would not attempt to replace him. The album is a lot of fun, with a lot of hints of what made The Cars huge in its heyday. If you liked the “Heartbeat City” or especially the “Shake It Up” albums, then move towards “Move Like This”.

nice slice of pop crunch for our times….. By J. Bilby God, its sad to hear so many people that live so far in the past. Sure its been almost 25 years since we heard a Cars song on the radio but radio is somewhat dead to many, the computer took over, rock music doesn’t play much on popular radio anymore like it use to,(if you even listen to radio?) everything is upside down(as we knew it), music has changed. For those of us who still get into music and stay in touch this sound will get your attention. I like this new cars music. Its pumped up and has something to say(to me)Ric still writes with bite. I like the other new song, Blue Tip as well, I hear it on youtube , the band is up to their classic sounds. You can never replace Ben Orr, sad loss for the band. Sure music is in a confusing state and those who were around for the first go round of this great band will most likely smile when they hear these songs and those who want to pick it apart, go for it! I’m glad they go back and into the studio and have made more classic rock.
