You recognise what would be cool for you and your friends to wear this Halloween? Halloween zombie costumes. Let’s face it we love zombies. If we didn’t there wouldn’t be so a lot of movies made on the subject. There’s even a TV series when it comes to those walking dead. There is just something when it comes to the dead being brought back to life and devouring humane flesh as their entrée that thrills us and chills us at the same time. Let me give you a little background on the zombie phenomena. My primary introduction to zombies was with the release of the 1968 George Romero film “Night of the Living Dead”. The film has since become a cult classic and in my opinion the best of all the zombie movies. I think the black and white nature of the film gives it a more eerie and exceptionally bad or displeasing feeling. However, that wasn’t the introductory film when it comes to zombies. The initial one was made in 1932 and was a movie called “White Zombie”. In this movie a man who wants to get the woman he loves away from her fiancé asks a voodoo doctor for his help. But the evil voodoo doctor rather makes the woman his zombie slave. The plot of this movie isn’t as far fetched as you might think. In Haiti persons actually believe that a bokor (a voodoo priest) may turn the dead into zombie slaves. These people have been living with the zombie phenomena a lot longer then we have, but to them it’s not make believe. In fact there have been a heap of accounts of humans that were pronounced dead and buried but were seen later walking around and speaking incoherently and not recognizing their former acquaintances. All of this is arousing and attention holding stuff and a good reason why Halloween zombie costumes will be a hit wherever you go. Can you imagine coming into a party in your zombie costume doing the whole walk and everything? You will surely to be the talk of the party. Or you and a great deal of of your friends could go to a dance club as zombies and do the Michael Jackson Thriller dance. You are bound to rock the place. There is no limit to what you may do. You could re-enact a scene from your favored movie. Just let your imagination go wild. There are likewise zombie costumes for kids and women so the whole family could do the zombie thing. There’s a whole lot of fun that may be had this year with Halloween zombie costumes so you might want to look into it.
